Chicken And Asparagus Stir Fry
Ingredients
- Chicken meat
- Asparagus
- 5 cloves of garlic diced
- A big knob of ginger diced
- Rice wine
- Cooking oil
- Oyster sauce
- Sesame oil
- Corn starch
Method
- Wash and diagonally cut asparagus into finger-length pieces
- 1/3 cup water for asparagus
- A little bit of sesame seeds
- Marinate the chicken.
- Transfer chicken into bowl
- Add 1 tsp rice wine
- Add 3 tsp soy sauce
- Add 1 tsp corn starch
- Mix
- Make a bowl of starch solution, use only a little bit of water
- Add 3 tsp cooking oil to wok
- Stir fry ginger until fragrant
- Add 2 tbsp cooking oil to marinated chicken
- Add garlic to wok
- Stir fry for 15 secs
- Add chicken
- Stir fry for 7 to 10 mins
- Transfer to plate
- Stir fry the asparagus
- Add oyster sauce
- Add water and cover for 2-3 mins
- Halfway through simmering, stir a few times
- Add starch solution and mix
- Add cooked chicken
- Add a little sesame oil
- Transfer to plate and add sesame seeds
