Thanks for all the help. You were a great tool. I've since moved on to using the built in windows snipping tool. I have discovered that if you search for "snip" in windows, you can change the setting "Use the Print Screen key to launch screen snipping". This is a simpler way of doing what I wanted. I normally just snip a region and paste it into paint, word document or markup.pyw.
